The Cosmos' first ever liquid staked index token is now live 🎉 It's called stIBCX. Get exposure to the whole Cosmos in a single token, without forfeited staking rewards. Issued on Osmosis, composed of Stride's liquid staked tokens, governed by ION DAO. How it works 👇 In order to mint stIBCX, users have to “liquid stake” their IBCX. IBCX is an index token backed by a diversified basket of Cosmos tokens. But those backing tokens aren’t staked. When you liquid stake your IBCX, you get stIBCX, which is backed by the same basket of tokens - except they’re liquid staked by Stride. So for example, stOSMO and stATOM instead of OSMO and ATOM. Where a token in the IBCX basket doesn't have a Stride LST available, that token is included in its unstaked form. But thanks to Stride’s wide array of LSTs, over 80% of the stIBCX basket is LSTs. And as more Stride LSTs become available in the future (eg. stAXL and stATK), the unstaked tokens in the stIBCX basket will be converted to LSTs. Stride's 9th stToken is live - stCMDX 🎉 The 38% APR CMDX staking reward no longer has to be forfeited when using CMDX onchain. Now use stCMDX, and keep your staking rewards 🙂 Here's what to expect 👇 First, an stCMDX/CMDX pool has appeared on Comdex’ native DEX, cSwap. The pool uses ranged liquidity, meaning it’s more efficient than a standard constant product pool: http://app.cswap.one/farm/45 Next, the current "master pool" on cSwap is CMDX/ATOM. But it's hard to incentivize, due to forfeited staking rewards. Based on community discussion, it'll likely be changed to stCMDX/stATOM. If liquidity providers don’t have to forfeit their staking rewards, cost to incentivize would be lower.
